The holiday season is nearing, and Thanksgiving is going to kick things off in just a few short weeks. While prepping for Thanksgiving dinner is often hectic, you can incorporate the little ones and make it a memorable bonding experience.
1. Dinner Whether you put them in charge of washing produce or grabbing ingredients out of the refrigerator, these small but important tasks will make them feel like they have a special role in preparing Thanksgiving Dinner. 2. Drawing Placecards Have an artist on your hands? You can ask them to contribute this year by drawing place cards for each guest that you are expecting. Let them get creative! 3. Decorating the Table While you are cooking, you can put the kids in charge of setting and decorating the table. Encourage them to scavenge for natural elements in the yard that they could incorporate, such as acorns and pinecones.

Movember Happy Hour. November 13, 2015. 6-9PM. Sprout Music Collective in West Chester, PA. When I announced that I would be hosting a fundraiser in support of men's health, many questioned my personal connection to the charity that I selected to support.
Due to personal experience and loss, I have always associated terminal illness with breast cancer and females. About six months ago, I started working with a non-profit organization that grants wedding wishes to couples facing life-altering circumstances or illness (Wish Upon a Wedding). It has been enlightening, heartbreaking and inspiring. Men's health is a serious issue that does not get enough attention, and this fundraiser is my way of trying to enlighten and highlight the importance of the Movember Foundation, a global charity dedicated to raising funding and awareness for men's health. The Movember Foundation works with all sectors of men's health from encouraging general exercise and wellness to funding testicular and prostate cancer campaigns and programs.
